Once a fault has been diagnosed, which in the mini is often caused by the wires snagging under the seat when it is moved to allow a passenger in the back, it is easy to reset the airbag warning light. NB: Please ensure you read the advice in the enclosed instructions regarding repeatedly reseting the airbag light. To diagnose and reset the light in our 2001 mini the device plugged into an interface under the steering column, at the bottom of the dash, looking up above the drivers footwell. The device comes with a comprehensive instruction booklet which includes reference tables for codes. The first code that the device gives is not a fault code but tells you which table to use
